Blossom Road Cemetery

Rules & Regulations

  • No glass or tin cans allowed in cemetery
  • No trees or shrubs planted without permission of sextons
  • Summer decorations to be removed prior to Oct. 1
  • Winter wreaths will be permitted between Nov. 1 and Apr. 1
  • All decorations must be put beside of stone, and in a row. No flowers or urns to be put the full length of the grave. All containers must be set on concrete or patio blocks.
  • Artificial flowers will be in the urn or container and will be removed by the sexton if they become faded.
  • No rose bushes are permitted.
  • Urns not in use will be removed.
  • No sod to be removed around the headstones.
  • No stones set in cemetery without notification of sexton.


The vault ordinance that exists for the Township of Sherwood also includes cement or vault encasement of cremation ashes.

North Cemetery
